The Ely Nordic Ski club wanted to celebrate the end of the year, the start of winter and being together with friends and family. We wanted to get a jump on the ski season in Ely and offer another way for people to get together during the holidays. So we're hosting an event for everybody, athlete,spectator and anybody in between.
The Hidden Valley Holiday Games.
Come early for the sprints. Line the trails to watch fast skiers compete over and over. There will be concessions and a bonfire. Everything will be under the lights on Friday night. You can see it all!
Stay for the next morning's events. We have a 15km classic race both for the serious racer and the person who wants to tour on beautifully groomed trails.
Watch the kids race, laugh at the obstacle course. Bring the family for a relay--1km for everyone!
Need something to do with all those new found cardboard boxes? Piece together a sled and ride downhill for the Sled the Bed event!
Enjoy yourselves, the company, the surroundings and the skiing, sledding and whatever else happens!

Trail reports are provided by regular skiers of Hidden Valley as well as groomers. These reports are updated often.
