Featuring a 15km skate race, a 7.5km classic race, and a 7.5km ski-athlon (7.5km classic and 7.5 skate with rolling transition). There will also be a "kid's race" (3km).

A fun-filled winter event for the entire family!

ENSC will again be hosting the Wilderness Trek Ski Race the first weekend in February and the Jackpine Bob Cary Ski Fun Day the following weekend!

race features this year:

  • Professional timing will be provided by Steve's Timing from Grand Marais, MN.
  • Hand-made artistic awards (by local artisans) will be presented to top racers.
  • An 'Ely Winter Festival' snow sculpture at Hidden Valley.

Sat. Feb. 2nd, 2008:

8-10am Registration and Race Packet pick-up at Hidden Valley Chalet

10am Mass Start for Kids Race (classic only).

11am Mass Start for Classic (only) and Ski-athlon racers. 11:15am Mass Start for Skate (only) race.

1pm Lunch (free with race registration), awards, and door prizes will be given at Hidden Valley chalet.

Sun. Feb. 10th, 2008:

11am Jackpine Bob Cary Ski Fun Day for all ages and abilities! This is a benefit for MYSL (MN Youth Ski League) - Chili, etc. served - adults $5, kids $3 - come join in the fun at Hidden Valley!

 

Day of registration by 10am ($25 for any of the three races - the kids race will cost about $5). All proceeds go directly to Ely Nordic. Thanks for your support!
