Heads up for everyone. Saturday February 1st most of Hidden Valley will be closed for the Ely home ski meet. Racing will start about 11am and the meet will last until midafternoon. Pine Park and Sommers would be open but you would have to access the trails from the Kawishiwi trail. Trezona trail would also be open.

Join us for a fun afternoon and evening of winter events for the whole family. Participate, spectate then hang out with family and friends at the bonfire or in the chalet.
Kids races 2:30 pm
Free for Kids. Sign up in chalet
1k and 3k single lap routes, ski or bike. Parents can ski with kids or let them go it alone. Participant prize and smores at the fire afterwards.
10k ski tour 3:30 pm
$15 until Feb. 13, $20 day of event
Ski the wonderful Hidden Valley trails that roll through the woods on the edge of Ely, MN. Ski at whatever pace suites you, either skate or classic. Stick with family and friends or race against them. Finish to a festive atmosphere with a bonfire and food. Stay around to watch the fat bike races or get on your bike and give the same trail a spin. $30 until Feb. 13, $35 day of event
This is the one chance per year to ride the well groomed ski trails at Hidden Valley. The course has a few punchy climbs and descents as it winds through the north woods. Same course as the ski tour so you could enter that to "test" the trail before you ride. The ride starts at dusk so a headlight is required on your bike or helmet or both. Helmet is required. Event is timed. No awards. 10k and 20k start together. Finish to food, bonfire and fun at the Hidden Valley chalet. The 10k will do 1lap and the 20k will do 2 laps.
